The Sindh Electronic Centralized Admission Policy (SECCAP) regulates admissions for all Intermediate programs (Classes XI & XII) in Government Colleges and selected higher secondary schools of Karachi under the College Education Department, Sindh. Students who have completed Matriculation from any Pakistani board are eligible. SECCAP aims to streamline the admission process, eliminate irregularities, and ensure equal opportunity for students across these institutions.

Govt First Year College Admissions 2024-25 Rules And Regulations

Welcome to the SECCAP Sindh Electronic Centralized College Admission Program 2024-25 portal. Take a look rules and regulations before submitting the registration form.

  1. SECCAP form available online on 1st July 2024 for admission in government colleges.
  2. Admissions will be based on the 9th result this year and those students who failed in 9th and who can’t get admission will have to go to a private college.
  3. Admission will be district-wise and based on merit. Only students with A+ and A grades should be admitted to Karachi wherever they are based on merit.
  4. Merit means that every govt college has a minimum percentage called cut-off marks. For example, if a student wants to be admitted to Adamje Govt College then in pre-medical the cut-off mark of this faculty is 500 in Adamje College. And student’s marks are 480 in the 9th class so his merit is good and he can’t apply to Adamjee College.
  5. If the student says 500 marks will be more, you can attach it. For example to understand the marks. Such students are the cut-off marks of each government college separately for each faculty.
  6. Faculty means Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, General Science (Computer Science), Commerce, and Humanities (Arts).
  7. Students with B, C, D, and E grades can apply to the college of their district based on merit and what merit is explained above.
  8. If your marks are low and you have passed the government college cut off marks are called you can’t get that admission you have to choose a college in which your marks we call college cut off marks are higher.
  9. Sometimes it also happens that for example, a student will get admission in computer science (general science) but his/her marks are a lot lower and they cut the marks of any government college in their district and say that not much. In in situation, you will change the faculty or they have another option private college.

Seccap Form Requirements

  • Class 9th (passed) Mark Sheet
  • Class 9th Admit Card
  • Class 10th Admit Card
  • Enrollment Card
  • B-Form of Candidate
  • Father/Mother CNIC
  • Picture a minimum of 5MB for upload on the Dashboard
  • Minimum Insert 5 Colleges Names As Your % Got In Class 9th

Eligibility Criteria

1. Recent Pass Candidates: Open to students who passed SSC/Technical Board/G.C.E. (O’Level) or its equivalent within the last 3 years (including 2021).

2. Gap Year Students: Applicable to graduates from the past 3 years before 2021, with 5 marks deducted per gap year for merit calculation.

3. G.C.E. (O’Level) Requirements: Must include English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, and four electives.

4. Cambridge Board: An equivalence certificate from I.B.C. Islamabad is mandatory.

5. Faculty/Program Requirements: Specific requirements for different programs will be based on the relevant Education Board’s guidelines.

6. Late Applicants: Students applying a year or more late must submit an affidavit stating they haven’t been previously admitted to a college.

7. Domicile: Open to students with Sindh domicile.

8. Out-of-Sindh Domicile: Students from outside Sindh can apply under quota restrictions.

Cancellation of Admission

  • Misrepresentation on Application: Admission will be canceled if any information provided in the application is found to be false.
  • Unexcused Absence: Failure to attend classes for more than 10 days from the start of the session will result in admission cancellation.
  • Disciplinary Issues: Students with a history of disciplinary expulsion from any educational institution or involvement in disruptive activities may have their admission revoked.
